Imperial Tobacco Canada’s Management Trainee Program is a robust, two-year graduate development plan designed to prepare participants to become our next generation of leaders.
Under the Management Trainee Program, you choose the function that best suits your strengths and the program structures your development according to clearly-defined deliverables.
Three sources provide support and encouragement along the way:
- Your coach is your line manager, who works with you to ensure that you are achieving the standards expected of you and getting what you need from the program
- Your mentor is an experienced manager from another function, who shares with you the benefits of his or her experience
- Other management trainees provide you with an invaluable network of contacts as you go forward in your career
Learning
Our interest in your progress is relentless. We conduct regular appraisals and offer the support and resources you need. We encourage you to enhance your skills and knowledge through continuous learning, via internal and external sources. We believe that working with role models is key and that meaningful coaching and mentoring enhance your professional and personal development.
